This festival, the award-winning Paradise Valley Hotel is turning its lush gardens into sub-regional cellar door experience to celebrate the wineries found in the Upper Yarra.
You can expect more than 10 different wineries ranging from local superstars like Paternoster and Gembrook Hill to some relative newcomers that are sure to excite. There's 50-plus wines on offer, so the chefs at Paradise Valley have created a menu of snacks available to purchase that champions charcuterie and local producers.
For those looking to dive deeper into the region, there are a pair of masterclasses hosted by publican and award-winning sommelier Mark Protheroe alongside different local winemakers. These feature 10 wines that are benchmarks for local producers with others from across Australia and abroad. Each masterclass is intimate, limited to 20 people.
Finally, after you've had your fill of juicy pinots and flavour-packed chardonnays, you can step into the bar for a range of craft beers and spirits. Oh, and did we mention the cocktail session hosted by the Killik and Ginfinity bar team?
